If you forgot to set your DVR timer and missed the season premiere of The Story of God with Morgan Freeman which aired on January 16th at 9pm E/P and 8 Central in the USA on the National Geographic Channel, here's a YouTube video of the segment on Sikhs.
The show is called The Chosen One and it features five sections, each on a different religion: Buddhism, Islam, Taoism, Sikhi and Native Americans. The whole program is fascinating and includes meeting a 9 year old Tibetan lama and going to Devil's Tower in Wyoming to meet the spiritual leader of the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota people.
Introducing the segment on Sikhs, Morgan Freeman mentions that there are many false preachers and gurus and he asks the question "How can following these false "chosen ones" be avoided?"
Then begins this beautiful eight minute segment in which a young Sikh woman goes to Amritsar to reconnect with her family's faith.
