SGGS Conference Videos Available Online

On September 19th, the 4th Annual Siri Guru Granth Sahib Conference took place at the Sikh Gurdwara San Jose in San Jose, California. Over 150 people attended the conference. Wonderful presentations were given by a range of authors and scholars on the universality and importance of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

 

Presenters included: Dr. Nikky-Guninder Kaur Singh, Dr. IJ Singh, Sangeeta Kaur Luthra, Jagjot Singh, Jessi Kaur, Ek Ong Kaar Kaur Khalsa and a special youth panel facilitated by Supreet Singh Manchanda.

The conference was dedicated to the memory of Dr. Jaswant Singh Neki who left his physical body on September 11, 2015. Dr. Jaswant Singh was slated to be a keynote speaker at this conference, but unfortunately was taken ill and had to return to India, where he passed away. Dr. Neki was known as a deeply respected Sikh poet and scholar. He became involved with the Chardi Kalaa Foundation from its founding in 1998.To read a tribute to Dr. Neki, please click here.
