Will you contribute to SikhNet today?

I'm a 16-year-old girl, and growing up in the current political climate, I find I am most passionate about women's healthcare and pay equity. I am an honor roll student, and a yearly recipient of the scholar athlete award at my school. Besides the various clubs and activities I am involved in at my school, I am a member of Sikh Kid 2 Kid, the Sikh youth group formed at my Gurudwara after the Wisconsin Gurudwara shooting. This past summer, I was an intern for Running Start, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization in Washington D.C. which trains young women to run for political office. I have also supported various political campaigns, including Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential bid. I am a very ambitious and passionate young woman, and I will likely contribute articles generally political in nature (although, I would definitely make sure they stay as nonpartisan as possible.) The issues that matter to me most are women's reproductive rights and equal rights and pay equity for all with no regards to gender identity, race, creed , or sexual orientation. I will love to share my knowledge of these issues and more with SikhNet readers, and I hope to be helpful in eradicating ignorance.
