When your karma plays into a marriage you have to face it honestly. You have to decide what is your stuff, and what is your partners stuff. Ultimately you have to own your stuff, and not blame it on somebody else. This is a huge realization in a marriage.
The whole world plays out in the will of Waheguru. All the bad stuff that happens here is karma. This earth is where we work through our karmas. There is no other place to do it.
Recently a SikhNet visitor emailed us asking why the Sangat here in Espanola, New Mexico worships Hindu idols. In this video, Guruka Singh and Gurumustuk Singh question the question.
Guruka Singh is asked the question "What is the difference between a Sikh and a person of a different religion?" The answer is there is no different if you are talking about "religion". Religion is just a label. "All religions are equal... IF you live them as a spiritual person."
Either it's your destiny to be the Guru's Sikh, or it's not. It's not that you have to go through a certain procedure or ritual, and then you are converted. If the destiny to be a Sikh is written on your forehead, then you already have a relationship with the Guru...
The mind is limited. The mind wants to know the step by step of how something was created.
Beyond all causes, beyond time, beyond space, God exists. Everything else is a delusion of your mind.
[VIDEO] If you don't have a sangat, begin a daily practice. Do what you can. Start to meditate. Learn how to jap. Learn how to do simran. Just begin.
Just remember this line, and treat everyone equally, regardless of what they can give you. Since no one has the power to give you anything except God, then there is no one to try to please.
Being asleep doesn’t mean you are not aware. When you sleep, your brain is processing things.
