Harkiren Kaur is a 7th generation Punjabi Sikh born and raised in Malaysia. Her parents are strong figures in the Kuala Lampur community and Sikhi has always been primary in her life which can be noticed in her blog 'Tva Prasaad - By Thy Grace'. She went on to marry a western Sikh who happens to be the tabla player in the renounced 'Chardi Kala Jatha'. They have a child and life in New Mexico.
