"When our heart starts to blossom with love, when we listen to stories of our Guru, when we read Gurbani and we actually connect to humanity... our heart starts to fill with love. Then what? Then we experience God, because then we love everyone equally. Then that same love radiates out of our heart towards our wife, to our children, to our siblings, to our parents, to the trees, to the earth to everything we see around us...

"...So sangat ji, how to we celebrate, what is the true way of celebrating Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Gurpurab is the way they have told us about what love is. Love means to spread that love equally to everyone.

"... When our hearts fill with love then we will feel 'look how fortunate I am. I've been given this opportunity to give my mother a loving hug, I've become so fortunate to be able to share that love with my wife, and not be running around looking for God elsewhere but telling my wife how much I appreciate her. Sitting with our children, and telling them stories, truly listening to them. Giving quality time to our children without getting caught up in our phones, that is finding love in our heart.'

"Not just on a human level but we think about the earth, we think about each leaf, we think about everything. And when we see ourselves as that dust who serves everything, that's what it means to have love inside our heart. That's what it means to celebrate Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Gurpurab."
