Supporting a New Center for Homeless Children In Punjab

A Bay Area Man sets off to make miracles happen for homeless children and fight poverty in his native India one pixel at a time.

Harpal Singh, of Union City, is making good on a promise he made while visiting his native India. He vowed to help the millions of children who are suffering from severe poverty. He is committing to giving up three years out of his life to build a center for children living in severe poverty in India. The center is a longtime vision of Harpal Singh and will potentially benefit millions of children.

Today, he launches an ambitious effort to raise money, one dollar at a time. He's doing it by selling pixels from his new website www.TheMiraclePixels.com. One pixel may be just a tiny dot on the screen but it can make an enormous difference in the lives of countless Indian Children. TheMiraclePixels.com has been designed to sell pixels on the front page for one dollar per pixel on which the buyer can display any graphic and link it to promote their business or interest. As traffic to the site increases, it will result in great advertising and traffic for the businesses as well. For families who would like to contribute, Harpal will create and host a webpage featuring the family, directly on the site itself. The pixels are guaranteed to be active for six years, and potentially for ever as the project grows.

The center will focus on not just providing food and shelter. It will also provide medical care, education and most importantly, provide crucial skills to build a future that can take these children and their families out of poverty. While this is a multifaceted project, the end result is the lives of the children that will be changed for ever.
