A short film which emphasises that ‘Langar’ is serviced to anyone and everyone. No one should go hungry... So please spread the word of this kind gesture which has been given to us by the first Sikh Guru.
It walks us through the eyes of an Englishman who is first humbled by the generosity of a Sikh man providing him a meal and then shocked that he can get a free meal at any time at a gurdwara. Then we follow him as he going to a gurdwara for the first time. Him taking his shoes off, covering his head, recieving prashaad and then langar, "You can chose from a range of dishes, and in return they ask for nothing. It's a beautiful gesture from the first Sikh Guru, as he believed no one should go hungry. This kind service is called 'langar'.
