Planned Giving
Can you protect your assets, provide for your family, and still extend your generosity for the future of Sikhi?
Yes, it is possible!
You can perpetuate your passion for Sikhi beyond your lifetime by making a planned gift through your will or estate. You can create your personal legacy and have a long and lasting impact on Sikhi into the future.
Giving by Will
How It Works
- You include a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust
- At your death SikhNet receives the bequest you specified
Benefits
- You may change your bequest or trust designation at any time
- You control the funding property during your lifetime
- Your bequest or trust designation will not be subject to any potential federal estate tax
- You provide future support for SikhNet
There are many different options when making a bequest:
- Cash
- Remainder of an estate
- Percentage of an estate
- Specific items, such as jewelry
We are currently investigating other Planned Giving options. Though these are not currently set up, in the future we will include:
- Appreciated Securities
- Real Estate
- Automobiles
- Retirement or Insurance plan beneficiary
- Charitable Gift Annuity
