Will you support SikhNet today? 

A Gurmat Samagam will be hosted in San Jose, CA, which will consist of Kirtan, Simran and Akath Katha. The theme of the samagam is ‘How can I hear God’s voice?’ according to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Katha will be presented in English and Punjabi so that every member of the sangat, regardless of religion, language barriers or age can understand the message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Kirtanees from across Canada, United States and U.K. will perform throughout the samagam. Simran will also be scheduled throughout the weekend so that sangat can get the most benefit out of their time. Samagams typically attract large numbers of sangat. The largest to date being well over 10,000. Many attend programs regularly, including youth, due to katha being presented in English and Punjabi, and because all topics and explanations are based from the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Special Workshop – English Explanations

Take a deep dive in how to apply the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in your everyday life. This session will be in English with a focus on real life applications for youth, students, professionals and parents.

For anyone that would like to attend the samgam, sangat is asked to fly or drive to San Jose after which local host families will take on all seva for accommodation and transportation.
