Takhat Sri Harmandir Sahib, Patna marks the divine spot where Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born in 1666. It is also the focal point for celebrating Guru Gobind Singh Ji's 350th Prakash Purab and pay loving tribute to the Saint-Soldier Guru, who not only created the Khalsa fraternity, but also blessed Sikhs with the highest exalted spiritual authority - Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Sevadars from all over the world have come together in Patna, serving hundreds of thousands of meals daily as well as participating in the service of those attending the mega-event.

In preparation, Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha (GNNSJ) India have been carrying out vital heritage conservation and development of Takhat Sri Harmandir Sahib in Patna, a task assigned to them by the Takhat Management Committee in preparation of an estimated 1 million pilgrims expected to attend the Gurpurab Celebrations between 1st December 2016 and 31st January 2017.
