When the Sikh painter, Bhagat Singh, lets his imagination run loose, the result is daredevil warriors, with gigantic turbans, that look awesome! Inspired by Sikh aesthetics, each painting tells its own story and a whole new universe comes into being.

'Fantasy Paintings' is a series of paintings in the fantasy genre that Bhagat Singh had been secretly working on over the past 6 years, alongside his well-known artwork on Sikh History. This series includes the three Akali Warrior Monk paintings. Their intimidating figures, mighty turban forts and menacing weapons are a combination clearly inspired by the garb of modern Akali Nihangs, the vanguards of the Sikh nation.

These beautiful paintings were revealed to the Sikh sangat early last year with the aim of inspiring the newer generations, of Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike, to appreciate the Sikh aesthetics, including the Sikh Turban.
