Guruka starts answering this question with a simple "no".

Many people may be curious to know what will happen to them in the future. "What will happen to me?" "Is my marriage going to be successful?" "Will I be successful in business?" "Will I find happiness in my life?"

It is said that the stars impel but they do not compel. Astrology, numerology, oromancy, reading tea leaves, tarot cards, i-ching, past life regressions... these are all just lenses to look at the moment. In each moment everything that is happening is connected to everything else that is happening. This moment is all that exists. The past and future don't exist. So anything that is going to tell you what will happen in the future is just a snapshot of that moment.

The best way to know the future is to create it. How? Be present in this moment with all of your values, caliber, grace, and identity. Otherwise you might get trapped in past life regressions etc. You might get trapped in thoughts of past and future. The past is gone, and future hasn't happened yet, so why not be here and now?

If you want to use a tool to gain insight in the here and now, there are tons of tools for that. Some of these modalities require someone to read it to you. So you have to go to the psychic, or card reader, or astrologer etc. The only one that doesn't have an interpreter is the Guru. When you go to the Guru, and take a hukam there is no middle-man. There is just you and the Guru. The Guru will give you what you need to know, not necessarily what you thought you wanted.

You can go to occultists, it's not a problem. It's entertainment. But the question of how you live your life and 'what is going to happen' unfolds in NOW. Live this moment consciously.
