The next lecture in our SikhNet Scholar Series will be with Amardeep Singh on February 10th 8.00pm EST.  Amardeep will host a discussion on the insights gained from the making of this very special 24-episode documentary series on Guru Nanak. 

In his lecture  Understanding Guru Nanak through a Docuseries  Amardeep will talk about Guru Nanakan embodiment of Oneness, and a revolutionary spiritual teacher. Guru Nanak, born in 1469, traversed vast geographies for over two decades to visit congregational sites of diverse faiths with a noble interest in seeking and imparting universal fellowship.

“Allegory - A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels” is a 24-episode documentary series, sequentially exploring Guru Nanak’s life events to unfurl the deep imports of his messages. The Docuseries is  available at TheGuruNanak.com

Although it is not a pre-requisite, viewing some or all of the series before the lecture is advisable as it will allow for a more interactive, informed discussion. 

Filmed at over 150 multi-faith sites in 9 countries, the documentary series is currently available in English, Punjabi (Gurmukhi) and Punjabi (Shahmukhi).  In 2023, the documentary series will also be released in Hindi and Urdu languages.
