Today we remember and honor Reverend CT Vivian who passed away on July 17, 2020. The Espanola, New Mexico Sikh Community had the privilege to host Reverend Vivian at the annual Peace Prayer Day event and he received the SSSC Award for Social Justice. A close associate of Dr. Martin Luther King, he was a leader of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960’s. Many of us were fortunate to spend time with him during his visit. He was a beautiful man and exemplified kindness, courage and dedication.
Gurujodha Singh was one of the 50 people invited to attend the private funeral in Atlanta happening today and is there representing the SSSC and our community. You can watch it live here on YouTube
