Will you support SikhNet today?

Dear Sadh Sangat Piaray Jio,

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.

Many prayers that you and your family are in high spirits (chardi-kala) as we near the end of 2014.

Did you know that SikhNet will turn 20 years old next year? SikhNet.com has now served an entire generation of Sikhs world-wide.

SikhNet started as a part-time hobby for a young Gurumustuk Singh, who wanted to explore issues of the Sikh identity with other Sikh youth.

But over the years, the demands from our on-line community grew, and SikhNet grew along with it.

Who could imagine that SikhNet would last for two decades? Now the question becomes - what’s next? What do YOU, as a community, need from us?

We invite you to watch this video where Ek Ong Kaar Kaur, SikhNet’s Program Director, interviews Gurumustuk Singh about the last 20 years and SikhNet’s plans for the future.

The future is all about how to serve YOU better. How SikhNet can support your personal journey throughout your whole life. Offering articles, videos, talks, and other online resources that will help you grow spiritually and personally.

But we can only do this with your support. If you would like to see SikhNet continue to serve for another 20 years, your contributions make a difference. Please share your Dasvandh with SikhNet this year. Every dollar or pound or rupee you contribute helps Sikhs around the world stay connected with the Guru and with their spiritual roots.

One new donor said this year:

“Currently, I am in my early twenties and I have been using the services of SikhNet from a young age. The services that are offered by SikhNet have helped me come closer to my Guru. Through the Daily Hukamnama, Gurbani Media Centre and many more. I use these services on a daily basis through the apps on my phone. Thus, once I earned my first income whilst at university in my second year, I felt obliged to donate part of that income to SikhNet in order to keep the services going. Not only for me but so that others may too connect with their Guru. This is a historic moment for me to be able to give back to SikhNet for the very first time This connection is priceless so to all the team I would like to express my profound gratitude and hope that through Guru Sahib's Kirpa, SikhNet can continue long into the future. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!”

Thank you for your support of SikhNet. Because of you, we will stay online and grow to serve the future of the Sikh community.
