“The Story of Us” certainly does it’s job of educating children about their common human history, in a way that’s entertaining and engaging. Almost without fail children reading “The Story of Us” are intrigued that their blood and saliva carry their genetic story. And that while people may speak different languages, pray differently, eat different foods, live in different houses, and even look different, they are all still, when all I said and done, ultimately one People.

Clearly, this is a very good time for kid’s to understand and internalize this important message.

Her other children’s books are Sakhi-Time with Nani ji, Thank-You, Vahiguru, and Daddy’s Turban. Her prolific work as a spiritual writer is often featured on Sikhchic.com and SikhRI.org.
