Harvinder Singh through his company inCONTROL TECH headquartered in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia has become a significant supplier of Protection, Control and Automation for Substations, Hydro Power Plants, and large control rooms for Utility Grids as well as transport infrastructure.
inCONTROLTech has built the largest Control Room in South East Asia for the electrical power utility in Malaysia. Also another of infrastructure major project was the first in the world Storm Water and Traffic Management Tunnel project called SMART Tunnel. This 10km tunnel was built directly under the city of Kuala Lumpur in a most unique way such that it is generally used as a underground motorway to facilitate traffic dispersal but during severe thunder storms, the traffic can be cleared in a very short time and the tunnel can be flooded tostore this additional storm water and prevent the city from flooding. In a very strategic move, SardarHarvinder Singh has recently merged his company with PSI AG, a world leader in Control Room Technology. As a technologist, Harvinder Singh’s vision and ambitious dreams have now transformed him to be a major shareholder of a leading German technology company which he wants to grow internationally.
It is no wonder that he was also announced Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 by Ernest & Young in the Technology Sector.
