The two part (See links below - ED) written tribute to Bhai Sahib Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Maharaj initially published on Sikhnet was a humble attempt to pay a loving, devotional and warm tribute to Bhai Ji. However, the sangat’s response to the articles was so tremendous with more than 25000 likes on Sikhnet Facebook and many more thousands of readings.

With Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj Ji’s Blessings and sangat’s unlimited show of love for Bhai Ji, we present the revised and ex- panded version of both articles in a short pamphlet. We hope that sangat will learn more and share this more detailed depiction of Bhai Ji’s spiritual profile.

We are keenly aware that such Brahamgyanis, Gnostics, are incomprehensible, and our efforts is to pay tribute to their eternal memory will always be limited and flawed. We apologize for that. We are neither gyanis or scholars and have no intent to be so, just humbly trying to pay respect to a Guru Maharaj Ji’s beloved Brahamgyani.

The one fact that signifies spiritual diversity within Sat Guru Sache Patshah Ji dargah, is the fact that, during the Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj’s time, there were two beloved Brahamgyanis.

On one hand there was Naam imbued, Baba Deep Singh Ji, who waged a miraculous battle with his sword in his one hand and his head on his other hand. On the other hand, Bhai Kanhaiya Ji, the apostle of peace, waged peace in battle to transform enemy hearts and root out the hatred.

Both equally blessed by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, served their beloved Guru in their own ways, and were approved in Guru Ji’s dargah.

That different way of loving Guru, to a mortal mind, might erroneously appear to be apparent irreconcilable contradiction in the conduct of these great Sikhs. Therefore, legacy of both of them is rooted in the key teaching of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj that the sole purpose of a Sikh is to get approval in Guru Ji’s dargah.

With the Blessings of approval in dargah, the Gursikh’s existence, conduct, and everything else becomes valid and acceptable, no matter how contradictory it appears to intellectually perceived notions of Sikhi.

We would like to thank all individuals whose audio, visual, and written resources we have used in this pamphlet. We specially thanks Sikhnet team for facilitating our seva.

We humbly apologize to Sri Guru Maharaj Ji and sangat for all inaccuracies, flaws, and deficiencies.

Finally, we would like to dedicate this seva to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj, and His sangat on the occasion of Sri Guru Maharaj Ji’s joti jot divas, November 16, 2015.

Satguru Maharaj Ji’s Blessings for all,

daas
