Wahe Guru ji ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru ji ki Fateh!

Dear

As we honor the gurpurb of Guru Nanak, we invite you to visit the Sikhnet Gurbani Media Center and enjoy the Shabads of Guru Nanak Dev ji.

Whatever you may own, here on this earth, billions of dollars, many houses, everything, well described in the words of Guru Nanak - you still remain nothing if you have not molded Infinity within the shell of your finite self.

Guru Nanak lived as a perfect example of an awakened human. Everywhere he went he simply tuned in to the places and people there and spontaneously sang the very words that people needed to hear at that moment.
How was he able to do this? By living as an awakened human. In Japji he describes this state of awakening as “listening.” Listening is a state of being. It is a state where we are fully awake and tuned in to the myriad of sensory inputs so that, in each moment, we spontaneously act in harmony with the very flow of life.

This week as we celebrate the blessing of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birth, open your heart and share your Dasvandh with SikhNet as we work to spread Gurbani to the four corners of the earth.
