We go through 8.4 million incarnations before getting the blessing of the human body. All creatures are longing for God's name. But only in a human body can you chant God's Name, vibrate and remember who we are. We can be consciously aware of the God within us.
Because of the value of human life, suicide is a great tragedy. So if one commits suicide, that soul has to begin its journey again. That means going through all 8.4 million incarnations.
The bottom line is you have to do the work. There's no way around that. It's just a matter of time. You can't run away. You can't escape. The only way out... is in. You have to face yourself. You have to elevate yourself. You have to triumph over all depression and adversity so you can live as a human being. And that takes effort.
