What if you were on a flight heading to a warm vacation spot for the winter holidays when your flight was taken over my hijackers? What if they demanded that you convert to their religion or face death? Avneet Kaur asks this question and states, "2016 actually saw quite a few hostage situations in reality. When I put myself in that situation, my nerves are wrecked. But then I'm reminded of an unparalleled historic moment. It was around the same time of year, a few hundred years ago, north of India, fierce winters, two children, young age of 6 and 9, captured by the ruling army for being the family of the biggest martyr history ever saw, the one who gave their head to protect the right to religious freedom of others.

While being kept hostage these children were asked by the ruler 'If you were set free, what would you do?' The children answered, 'Without a doubt, we would gather an army and attack you' they replied fearlessly, 'And we will continue to fight for righteousness and justice until our last breath.' Their response shook the foundation of the rulers."

Watch this video as Avneet Kaur goes on to question and challenge us who live more comfortable lives today, "The dignity of life is an ideal worth fighting for and worth dying for." Then she closes the video with this, "I wish there would be a day when we would stand for right, and will not succumb to might. To get bliss, don't forget to feel this. Have a blissful day and don't forget to pray."
