I wanted to take some time to thank everybody for making 2016 an awesome year for me.
Here's a recap of the events of 2016 -
April
Earlier this year I had my first Solo Exhibition in Peel Art Gallery. Museum and Archives called Sikhi Art - Essence of Warriors and Saints.
Summer and Fall
In the Summer, I released my take on the spiritual experience of Bhai Kanhaiya ji during the Battles of Anandpur. In the Fall, I followed that up with another peaceful and tranquilizing painting of Harimandir Sahib ji - Golden Temple - Meditations under the Moonlight.
The end of the year was very busy!
November
In October, I added the final touches to my black and white painting of Sant Jarnail Singh ji Bhindranwale. During this time I was also working hard to complete Pita Kalu ji Holding Baby Nanak in time for Guru Sahib's Prakash Utsav.
This painting of Pita Kalu ji Holding Baby Nanak was released to the sangat world-wide on Guru Nanak Dev ji's Prakash Utsav. It was specifically created for, and is now on display in, the Pita Kalu Sahib Gurudwara in Birmingham, UK. Be sure to check it out in-person if you live nearby.
December
I released Blind Chakram on Howdah, an exploration of my imagination and a new addition to my Fantasy Painting Series, which took this series to the next level. I also released a new edition of Hari Singh ji Nalwa, improving one of your most favourite paintings even further.
With all that I ended 2016 on a high note. The plan for this next year is to continue this momentum and continue to complete and release paintings that I have been working on, some of which I started many many years ago.
In my next email, I will talk more about my upcoming artworks.
Thank you for all the continued support.
