Singh) and the Luce-Celler Act of 1946 which describes the tireless efforts of Sirdar Jagjit Singh. Sirdar Jagjit Singh was an instrumental figure in the passage of the act.
Navtej Kathuria writes: I, and all other US citizens of Indian heritage, can repay the debt of gratitude we owe to the tireless efforts of Sirdar Jagjit Singh and the generosity of the American public, by embracing and living the core values that uniquely define all of us as Americans.
