Sikh Youth Australia (SYA) has organized a series of events to launch of the book - Lost Heritage: The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan. The author, Mr. Amardeep Singh will be present during the events across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, giving an insight into the journey and making of the book.

This inspirational book uniquely captures the vestiges of the rich culture and architectural history of present day Pakistan. The author painstakingly undertook the journey across 36 cities to explore the remnants of the Sikh legacy in West Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan Administered Kashmir. This research is chronicled, providing insight into the glorious era by exploring the relinquished heritage spanning between the 15th and 21st centuries. The 504 page narrative is interspersed with 507 photographs of historic monuments, forts, battlegrounds, commercial and residential establishments and places of worship that bear mute witness to the heart-wrenching partition. This illustrative exploration of arts, architecture, culture and history, discerns the erstwhile secularity of the region and aims to provide a strong impetus to those in search of their roots and for those interested in the bygone era.
