Someone that chooses to stand
For those that need a hand
To make them stand

The endless suffering of those
In dark cages for ages and ages
With no hope
No voice
Only pain ...no choice
Saw a glimmer of hope
Heard his silent voice
So loud, but soundless
Understanding their pain
When the world had given up...
A selfless stand
Putting his life on the line
Bapu Surat today
Getting weaker in body every day
But his resolve is strong
To free those that were wronged
He refuses to give up
Fighting strong with every breath
The Guru is blessing him
Giving him strength not to give up
For it is "Sikhs" like him
With faith like steel
Standing sombre
Standing tall
Walking the path
Unafraid
Of death
Or pain
A light in the darkness
Leading the way
For our young
A man so strong
In his faith he is beyond
The realm of life and death
He simply wants
His silence to be so strong
That it reaches beyond the earthly norms
A silence making a statement so loud
Resounding all over....every nook and cranny
Filled with a silence that screams
"Justice for all"
